GeM is in process of validating all kind of BIS licence like CRS, MANAK and FMCS through the online information being provided by BIS. In case your product is having BIS licence and you have indicated the same on the GeM portal while uploading your products, you need to ensure that BIS licence informations are correct and valid.
Please take a note of this and take remedial action once the feature is launched.
We are going to release a new feature to update the BIS license numbers in the catalogs where it is mandatory/ voluntary. The tentative timeline for the launching of new feature is planned for Feb-16, 2023.
In case your BIS licence is found invalid/ erratic, After Feb-26, 2023 GeM will remove all such products.
