Launch of Understanding Series – Exclusive Sessions for Consultants

About the Program
The WTO Agreement on Technical Barriers to Trade (the “TBT Agreement”) came into force with the establishment of the World Trade Organization (WTO) on 1 January 1995, with an aim to ensure that regulations, standards, testing and certification procedures do not create unnecessary obstacles to global trade.
Recent episode of Covid 19 pandemic across the globe had affected global distribution supply chain of various products and services. On one side , global markets opened up to many countries for importing healthcare products like pharmaceutical drugs and medical devices, PPEs etc & on the other hand exporting countries were struggling to understand the importing coutries Regulations, EXIM practices.
There was not much clarity about the importing countries norms like Regulations, Certifications, Testing & Inspection requirements etc for various sectors across the globe.
Management Systems Consultants play an important role in guiding industry to implement various Management Systems across multiple sectors. Its crucial for Consultants to understang about WTO TBT Agreements, Rules which are linked to Global Trade Practices.
With global supply chains still under turmoil mode, Indian businesses will get plenty of opportunities to hit global supply chain now. Ministry of MSME is taking all steps to connect Indian MSME businesses to be part of global supply chain.
