June Month Knowledge Series 2025

Consultants Consortium of Chennai (CCC) is an Association of Management Systems Consultants, registered under the Tamilnadu Societies Registration Act, 1975.

CCC, jointly with Management Systems Consultants Consortium (MSCC, a registered Association for Management Systems Consultants), is organising series of Knowledge Sessions for the benefit of the industry and other stakeholders to Conformity Assessment, in the month of June 2025 to Celebrate World Environment Day, World Food Safety Day and World Accreditation Day (WAD 2025).

1st Session in June Month Series is scheduled on June 5th 2025, to celebrate World Environment Day.
2nd Session in June Month Series is scheduled on June 7th 2025, to celebrate World Food Safety Day.
3rd Session in June Month Series is scheduled on June 9th 2025, to celebrate World Accreditation Day.

1. World Environment Day (June 5th, 2025)

Significance: World Environment Day is the largest global platform for public outreach on environmental issues. It’s a UN day that brings together millions of people worldwide to raise awareness and encourage action for the protection of our planet. It emphasizes our shared responsibility for safeguarding and restoring the environment, empowering governments, businesses, communities, and individuals to drive sustainable change.

2. World Food Safety Day (June 7th, 2025)

Significance: World Food Safety Day emphasizes the crucial role of food safety in preventing foodborne illnesses, ensuring human health, and contributing to sustainable development. It highlights that safe food is essential for everyone, and that foodborne illness is responsible for a significant number of preventable deaths annually. The 2025 theme, “Food Safety: science in action,” underscores the vital role of scientific research and knowledge in keeping food safe.

3. World Accreditation Day (June 9th, 2025)

Significance: World Accreditation Day highlights the indispensable role of accreditation in ensuring the quality, safety, and reliability of products, services, and systems. It builds trust in conformity assessment bodies (e.g., testing labs, certification bodies) by independently evaluating their competence and impartiality. The 2025 theme, “Accreditation: Empowering Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs),” specifically focuses on how accreditation fosters growth, expands market reach, and enhances quality and sustainability within the SME sector.

All sessions will be conducted through Virtual Mode (Webinar) and sessions will be conducted from 03 00 pm – 05 00 pm IST on respective days

Open to all stakeholders in Conformity Assessment. Industry, ABs, CBs, CABs, Inspection bodies, Consultants, Technical Experts, Trade & Industry Associations, Innovators, Start-ups, Academia, Entrepreneurial Platforms, Consumers, Government organisations, Regulators etc

Programs this year are jointly organised by CCC & MSCC, Registered Associations of Management Systems Consultants in India jointly with various partner organisations who support these knowledge sharing initiatives year on year.
