Industry Awareness Program for Educational Sector
About the Program :
ISO is one of the oldest and most experienced in the field of industry standardization, ranging from quality management to food safety, has proven to be a global benchmark of standardization which impacts businesses, organizations, policy-makers, and various regulations around the globe.
One of its latest published standards for Educational Sector by ISO is ISO 21001 – Management Systems for Educational Organizations (EOMS). This standard focuses on educational organizations and their respective services and products. Primary aim is to enhance learners and other beneficiaries’ satisfaction.
The ISO 21001 standard provides a great basis for educational providers to enhance the quality of their products and services. There might be a general wariness in regards to standardization, due to the educational sector’s compliance to various Regulatory & Academic Frameworks like NAAC, NBA, AICTE , MCI, UGC etc.
However, if a standard like ISO 21001 is implemented, and complemented with other best practices as listed above in the field of education, it will help educational organizations yield positive results for its beneficiaries – be it students, parents, community, and/or others.
With the New Educational Policy on anvil, educational organisations need good management systems in place to meet the requirements of all stakeholders.

Month of November is dedicated to Quality and is known as Quality Month globally. World over organisations , stakeholders of Standards, Conformity Assessment celebrate Quality Month through multiple engagements. Bar on Quality Awareness will be raised in November through multiple celebrations.
Global Theme for this year is Creating Customer Value.
